What are the recommended post-treatment instructions?
- DO avoid alcohol, aspirin, St John’s Wort, and oral Vitamin E.
- DO avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as Advil (Ibuprofen), in the 24 hours before the treatment and after, as they may promote the risk of bruising and bleeding in the injection area.
- DON’T apply pressure or touch the treated area for 6 hours after the procedure. The area can then be gently washed with a cleanser and water.
- DON’T scrub the area vigorously, exfoliate or receive facial treatment in the area for 72 hours.
